Hello!

Welcome to our Blog!

The Seattle Choral Company is currently getting ready for the Grand Finale to our 27th concert season, featuring Mozart’s “Great” Mass in C minor.

Rehearsals began in late January—on Tuesday evenings—to prepare Mozart’s masterpiece. We’re having a terrific time absorbing all the intricacies and discovering the six new choruses added to this piece by Robert Levin. We are planning to present the first Seattle performance of this new latest version of Mozart’s biggest and most complex vocal work.

While the world around us seems to be locked in a maze of financial turmoil and uncertainty, we feel lucky to return each week to our rehearsal hall at University Christian Church, and become totally absorbed by the beauty and perfection of Mozart’s genius.

We are blessed.

Please return to our Blog as often as you can, where you will find words and commentary written from the perspective of members and friends of the Seattle Choral Company. We hope to give you a unique bird’s eye view of what it’s like to be a choral singer, and what’s it like to take part in our wonderful organization.

Cheers,

Fred
